Purpose

The Wisconsin Water Ski Federation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

Specifically, the purpose of the organization shall be to educate individuals interested in water skiing. Additionally, the organization shall promote water skiing, water safety, and good sportsmanship in Wisconsin and elsewhere; promote the formation of water ski clubs; serve as as an educational, informational, and organizational center for water skiers and the general public in Wisconsin; disseminate information and news about water skiing to the general public; present annually the Wisconsin Water Ski Convention & Expo, the Wisconsin State 3-Event Championships, the Wisconsin State Water Ski Show, Barefoot, Wakeboard, Collegiate, and Scholastic Tournaments, and other events and tournaments as deemed by the Board of Directors.

The Wisconsin Water Ski Federation is licensed as a charitable organization by the Wisconsin Department of Regulation & Licensing. Our license number is 9255-800, and can be verified at the Wisconsin Department of Regulation & Licensing website.

To make it easy for members and the general public to learn about, participate, and compete in all disciplines of water skiing in Wisconsin.

For the Wisconsin Water Ski Federation to be the premier water skiing organization in the world by:

• Organizing and promoting world-class water ski events and tournaments
• Providing everyone in Wisconsin who wants, an opportunity to learn to ski
• Having more USA Water Ski members and affiliated clubs than any other state or region

...ultimately making Wisconsin the "Water Ski Capitol of the World."
