BACK FOR 2012...Indoor Skiers Challenge presented by MasterCraft Boats
Teams of six people (3 males and 3 females) will compete against each other in a series of water-skiing related challenges. All challenges will be timed. Teams will be awarded points for each challenge based on how quickly they complete the challenge. The quicker a team completes a challenge, the more points they receive.
The Challenges
Three-Tier Pyramid Build - Contestants run across the stage and construct a 3-tier pyramid. The top girl should lock-out and say, "Thank you MasterCraft." Safely bring the pyramid down and run back to the starting point.
Equipment Set-Up - Skis and ropes will be randomly placed at one end of the stage. Contestants must run out, pick up the skis and bring them back, setting them up as if to take off the dock. Then roll 6 ropes and place on the skis.
Rope Toss - Each contest gets one throw at a target. Score 3 points if the handle is inside the target. Score 2 points if the handle only touches the target. Score 1 points if the handle is within one foot of the target.
Costume Change - Each contestant must run across the stage and put on his/her costume with the help of up to 2 partners, run to the other side of the stage to touch a cone and return to remove the costume.
Mystery Challenge - To be announced the night of the competition
Slalom Course - A contestant is pulled by the other 5 members of the team through a slalom course of cones on a skateboard. Return to the starting point and repeat. One male and one female must ride the skateboard.
Speed Doubles - Each pair of contestants must cross the stage prior to the lift. First lift is to be a seat press. Second lift shall be a side step-up. Third lift shall be a seat to drape. The male's arm must fully extend on each lift.
Mystery Challenge - to be announced the night of the competition
Points & Other Rules
Points are awarded for each challenge based on time (except the Rope Toss). The team with the most points after all of the challenges are completed wins.
Teams must consist of 3 males and 3 females. The same six team members must compete in all challenges. No substitutions allowed.
Any contestant who appears to be intoxicated shall be disqualified.
Entry Fee
The entry fee for each team is $50. Entries are limited to 10 teams. Enter the competition. |
