Wisconsin Water Ski Hall of Fame

Barb was inducted into the Wisconsin Water Ski Hall of Fame in 2020.

Barb SnowBarb became involved in show skiing when her husband Duane joined the Rock Aqua Jays in 1972. She designed and sewed costumes for the team and shared her knowledge with many other teams. In 1975, she began scoring tournaments including the Michigan State, Central Regionals, Eastern Regionals, Iowa State, Midwest Regonals, and Wisconsin State Water Ski Show Championships.

She has been a chief scorer or regular scorer at dozens of Division I and Division II National Show Ski Championships and continues in either capacity for many individual act competititions and team tournaments to this day. Barb is honored to have scored in each of the first four IWWF World Water Ski Show Championships.

Barb has shared her knowledge and love of the sport for many years as an instructor for the WWSF Think Tank Water Ski Convention & Expo. She also served as WWSF treasurer for a few year in the late 1980s.

She consulted in the development of the NSSA electronic scoring system and continues to provide valuable feedback for its ongoing improvement. Barb is a loyal volunteer who works tirelessly to ensure the scoring function of tournaments is executed flawlessly and accurately.
